This website is a portal to resources for faculty and librarian members of our union, as well as part-time faculty who may or may not yet be members of our union. While this page is public, many of the resources provided here are only intended for union members! You must join our Google Group using a non-MassArt Gmail account to access these resources. Without joining, parts of this site will not work.

Reminders

• You have the right to have union representation at any meeting with the administration (Academic Affairs, HR, EO/Title IX Officer, etc.). You have the right to stop any meeting you attend with administration and ask for union representation. You have the right to know what the meeting is about before you attend. These are called your Weingarten Rights. Protect yourself and contact me before attending any meeting.

• If you have any issues or questions about your pay, please contact me immediately.

• Grievances - if the administration violates the contract, we can file a grievance. However, we must file a grievance within 15 days of the violations so contact Katie or Gretchen immediately - attached is a document with more information on grievances.

• MassArt email is public record - never write anything using your MassArt account that you wouldn't want the public (or HR or President Grant or the Boston Herald) to read.
